From Beavers to Venturers, with Cubs and Scouts in between, youth and their families along with Leaders will meet for an evening of fun and entertainment. Songs, skits and cheers are invited from all as we take a short time to reflect on the opportunities that available in scouting for all ages.
This evening falls during Scout /Guide Week, which every year takes place during the week that includes February 22, the birthday of both Lord and Lady Baden-Powell. Robert Baden-Powell had an idea that he first implemented with a small group of boys at a camp on Brownsea Island during the summer of 1907. From this first single camp sprung the Scouting and Guiding movements that have influenced the lives of many millions of people around the world.
Today there are over 25 million active members of Scouting worldwide in all but 6 countries of the world (Andora, China, Cuba, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Myanmar).
Come out on Wednesday February 18 and join with other members of our own Scouting family.
